Occidental Street Market
Join us for the Occidental Street Market, hosted at Baba Yaga and Golden Roosters!
We’re offering 10-15 outdoor spots, along the beautifully remodeled Occidental Avenue and Washington Avenue. This area is well lit at night and well trafficked making it a perfect place for showcasing your art, crafts, or small business products. Indoor spots are not available at this location so bundle up and bring what you need but expect to have a lot of fun. This is the most exciting area in the neighborhood, we’re bringing it to life.
Features:
- Exposure to Pioneer Square’s foot traffic
- Promotion through Pioneer Square Market Network’s social media channels and email newsletter
- A community atmosphere bringing together creators, vendors, and locals
Spaces are first come, first serve, so secure your spot today! Outdoor vendors should plan for weather contingencies.
We’re excited to continue the tradition of connecting local makers with the community — whether you’re a returning vendor or joining us for the first time!
Art Walk Night Market FAQ
Where is the Occidental Street Market located?
The Occidental Street Market is located at 124 S Washington St, Seattle, WA 98104. It’s situated at the corner of Occidental and Washington, across from the picturesque Occidental Square.
What do I need to bring?
The Occidental Street Market is outside so vendors are required to bring their own tables, chairs, and anything else they may require to vend.
How are vendor spots arranged?
Vendors may request their same spots as last time but are otherwise assigned spaces on a first-come, first-serve basis. Due to the mix of vendors registering in advance and registering day-of, assigning spaces in advance is just not practical at this time. As we mature as a market that may change.
What are the market hours?
Load in can start around 4:00pm and load out can be any time after 8pm but vendors can stay as late as they’d like. (Call or text Lloyd at 612-708-3289 for to setup before 4:00pm.)
Where can I park?
The area has a lot of new street parking that is free after 6pm but free passes for parking in the Butler Garage (2nd and James) and the Frye Garage (117 3rd Ave S) are available for art walk vendors and attendees.
Can I share this event on my social media?
Absolutely! We encourage vendors to share the Occidental Street Market on their social media channels. Don’t forget to tag us @PioneerSquareMarket.
What types of products are you looking for?
Small, hand-made or boutique items that may interest art walk attendants. Art Walk is primarily made up of galleries where purchasing art is cost prohibitive. The merchandise that does best are the pieces that allow people to take Art Walk home with them.
