The Pioneer Square Market Network proudly hosted Pioneer Square Fest, the Second Annual Pioneer Square Summer Market and Music Festival, on July 5th and 6th. This year’s event, centered around Occidental Square Park, extended in all directions to include numerous shops, galleries, restaurants, and bars, creating a vibrant and bustling atmosphere.

Park & Venues

The concert in Occidental Square Park was free for everyone, while wristband holders enjoyed special perks such as bypassing door charges at participating venues and receiving food and drink discounts at local establishments throughout the weekend. The extended festival boundaries allowed visitors to explore the historic neighborhood and support Pioneer Square’s vibrant business district.

Despite unforeseen circumstances leading to last minute venue changes, the festival ran smoothly. Shows originally scheduled for Baba Yaga were moved next door to the Golden Rooster Underground Stage at 115 Occidental Ave S, while DJs set to perform at Golden Roosters relocated to The Asylum Collective at 108 S. Jackson St.
